Citroen have done a marvelous job desiging the Cactus. It has a distinctive exterior with a cleverly designed interior. It's a great looking car that could be cheaper than it is because despite its 4x4 look, the Cactus doesn't have a four-wheel drive option.
It's ride is refined and there's little the Cactus does badly apart from little space in the rear and annoying back windows. The new suspension makes the drive so much more comfortable than competitors in its segment that it's almost like riding a flying carpet.
The Citroen C1 is a compact city car that's stood the test of time and the latest model gets a completely new design while retaining the essence of the original C1. The engine is also more powerful with added torque, giving it a much needed performance boost. Citroen has done good work, improving on the C1's key design and performance features.
The C1 gets some much needed love in the feature department with the addition of automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, hill start assist and a reversing camera system.
The C2 is designed to be a fun car. Its 15-inch wheels make sure it sticks to the road when cornering and its short gear ratio provides confident handling. The fun continues on the interior of the C2 where colour has been used without restraint. You'll have no shortage of enjoyment from the Citroen C2.
The only downside to the C2 is its petrol consumption. It's not terrible, only slightly higher than competitors, but the enjoyment you get from the car as a whole makes the petrol consumption a minor problem.
The DS3 shares the stage in the supermini segment with the likes of the Opel Adam, Mini Cooper and VW Polo to name a few. The DS3 has good punchy performance and engaging handling. Very little has changed in the DS3's look since it was first launched, which is telling of Citroen's satisfaction with the design.
The latest incarnation of the DS3 gets a 7.0 infotainment system and some connectivity upgrades to keep it in line with the competition, even if it's slightly cumbersome to use.
