The Q7 is Audi's Flagship SUV
Last Updated: 09 October 2018
The Q7 is Audi's flagship SUV, the beast of the bunch. The latest generation of the Q7 features sharp clean lines with a slightly smaller frame, but only by a fraction. Audi have been wizards in creating a spacious interior with the Q7 and truly live up to their slogan. You can get Audi Q7 insurance quotes by filling out your details here
Design & Features
LED headlights sit well on the sides of the large Audi grille. It's length gives it an almost wagon impression when viewing the Q7 from the side, while the tailgate looks very much like a clamshell. Space in the boot isn't ideal because it isn't as wide as the tailgate itself. The Q7 has a fair choice when it comes to wheels, offering size of 18 to 20 inches.
A proximity-sensing key known as Advance Key comes standard on all Q7 models. Audi says the key offers memory features, keyless entry and push-button start. If you're an audiophile of sorts, the Premium Plus trims come standard with a 3D Bose Surround Sound stereo system.
Optional extras include Driver Assistance Package (emergency braking and adaptive cruise control), a surround-view camera system and a high-resolution 12.3 inch LCD screen which replaces the archaic analog gauges.
While Audi has made a concerted effort to reduce the Q7's mass, it remains a two-tonne beast. Standing starts done on a sharp incline feels a little awkward. However, it merges with traffic with ease, overtakes vehicles like a breeze and its quality defines the Q7 as an undoubtedly upmarket SUV.
Audi Q7 Insurance
Total replacement body parts cost roughly 24% of the Q7's retail price depending on which trim you decide on. While insurance on it will be expensive, it's cheaper than insuring a BMW X5 or a Mercedes GLE. If you're looking for a competitive insurance quote for your Audi Q7 click here
